Specialist:  Security and Emergency






Our client prioritises the safety and security of their workforce, external customers and the communities they serve.  They are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their security and emergency team, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding their premises and responding effectively to any emergencies that may arise.


  • Identify, analyse, and record crime trends in the area including potential events that might affect the client by proactively identifying and analysing risks, and threats and recommending counter measures to prevent events.
  • SAP’s involvement – Develop a working relationship with all key persons within the SAP’s environment (Sector embers, Sector Commanders, CPF, Station Commander) including security service providers.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and create comprehensive emergency response plans tailored to different scenarios.
  • Technologies: Evaluate, implement, and manage security and Emergency preparedness technologies such as access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and fire protection/prevention safeguards.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.


  • Matric and Policing Diploma / Fire Technology Diploma/Degree or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in an industrial/chemical environment
  • PSIRA Registered and law enforcement background.
  • Knowledge and experience in coordinating and execution of requirements.
  • ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001 knowledgeable.
  • Organisational skills, teamwork, technical capability, computer skills, safety, environmentally conscious and coaching capabilities.
