Sales Manager






If you’re interested in joining a prominent and esteemed company in the heavy equipment industry and have a proven history of effectively developing and surpassing sales targets through meticulous planning and implementation, then this role could be ideal for you!


  • Responsible for supporting the growth strategies within the region (budget quotations, order intake, revenue/casing, customer visits), following up on open payments
  • Win new customers with a systematic approach / and get an understanding and agreement on general terms and conditions
  • Registration, and acceptance of MDT products with all customers /end users so that each product gets the best chance in the market.
  • Builds customer relationships from prospecting to closing/fostering relationships with agents
  • Negotiate/approve contracts and service agreements
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, oversee the sales budget
  • Regional coordination between customers/agents and headquarters
  • Collect & communicate market intelligence/competitors’ activities, project opportunities
  • Quarterly Business Review / Reporting in a structured and professional manner
  • To do more business development/marketing/promotion and tendering to get directly and closely involved in sales projects



  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
  • Commercial Background preferably MBA
  • Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
  • Detailed understanding of the business at both technical and commercial levels
  • Demonstrated sales success, with complex sales, in the targeted regional  market
  • Seasoned sales/marketing experience with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing/machines
  • Be available after hours, to support any requests from Workshop staff
  • Fluency in English
  • SAP
