POSITION
Production Engineer– Gauteng
LOCATION
Johannesburg, Westrand, South Africa
SALARY
R650 000 – R750 000per annum
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor a team of skilled setters in maintaining and setting up blow moulding and ancillary equipment.
Drive safety, efficiency, and quality across all production processes.
Optimize tool changeovers and troubleshoot technical issues with a problem-solving mindset.
Oversee tool maintenance, installations, and calibrations to ensure peak performance.
Collaborate on engineering changes, product drawings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 4 years of experience in the HDPE blow moulding industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Catia, Solid Edge, etc.).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- A track record of process optimization and project management success.
