Mechanical Engineer – Succession Planning Role

Responsibilities
  • Involved in all aspects of mechanical engineering at a continuous production plant 
  • Maintenance and preventative maintenance of static production machines and equipment, as well as injection moulding and blower machines 
  • Involved with continues improvement initiatives at the plant 
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of a BSc, BEng or BTech Degree Mechanical   
  • Will consider Graduates for this role or individuals with 3 – 5 years’ experience or more experienced candidates 
  • For Graduates this role will be to prepare an individual to become a fully-fledged Mechanical Engineer within a time frame of 3 to 5 years – Succession Planning 
  • Experience within a static machine manufacturing environment.   
  • Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics 
  • Willing to get “your hands dirty” and be on the shop floor/workshop continuously 
  • The company works on a 3-shift system, but the candidate will work dayshift 
  • Candidate will be required to stay within a 30 minute reach from the site to assist with any emergencies at the plant.
