Assistant Administration Manager 




R600 000 per annum


Our client, a leader in poverty alleviation in South Africa who prides itself on assisting woman small business owners with micro-loans is looking for an Assistant Administration Manager. You will be responsible for people management, assisting in managing the loans administration department, assisting in managing large inflows and outflows of money, reconciliations of the debtor’s ledger, assisting with month-end reports, providing assistance with internal and external audits, drafting annual budgets for the department and maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will be in a leadership role in an organisation which offers career growth.


  • Apply and improve financial policies, systems and procedures
  • Follow up on any unknown and outstanding deposits on repayment accounts
  • Address queries and assist with final journal entries for disbursements and repayment reconciliations
  • People Management
  • Do allocated monthly debtors’ balance sheet recons as requested by the Admin Manager and follow up on reconciling items
  • Follow up on Loans Administration department errors, especially month-end report
  • Ensure that monthly statistical information and management reports from the Loans Administration department are provided on time, do a final review and authorise for release
  • Oversee the preparation of the monthly Principal Outstanding reports to stakeholders
  • Authorise daily disbursements
  • Authorise money transfers between repayments and Investment accounts
  • Drafting the annual budget for the department
  • Ensure effective loan administration


  • B Com / National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting
  • 4 years of financial administration experience
  • Must have Advanced Excel skills
